Wife duo Aisha and Danielle Moodie-Mills have just launched a new show with MSNBC’s theGrio. Tomorrow, the power couple will premiere Politini where they discuss the intersections between politics and pop culture. Viewers will be able to tune into the eight-week mini-series every Wednesday and Friday morning at theGrio.com.
Trailblazers of our community, Aisha and Danielle are also busy launching a new policy initiative, Fighting Injustice to Reach Equality (FIRE), to eliminate the social, economic and health disparities faced by LGBT people of color.
Aisha and Danielle have both been applauded nationally for their efforts. Black Enterprise and Politico have both crowned the ambitious couple as a “power couple to watch” and they both have been dubbed one of The Root’s 100 most influential African-Americans and the Advocate’s Top 40-Under-40 National LGBT Leaders. The two are also ELIXHER Magazine columnists and pen “10 Things Popping From Hollywood to Poliwood” in each issue.
We at ELIXHER would like to congratulate the Moodie-Mills on their new venture!
