ABC Family’s The Fosters Returns 

ABC Family’s drama The Fosters, which follows an interracial lesbian couple raising a blended family of biological, adopted and foster children, was recently renewed for a third season. The series returns for its winter premiere this Monday, January 19 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family. In ETonline’s exclusive first look, Lena (played by Sherri Saum) has a heart-to-heart with their son Jude. Executive producers also hint that Lena and her wife Stef are about to hit a rough patch.

Rapper Elle Royal Releases Video for “Who You Wit”

Elle Royal (formally known as Patwa) recently debuted the video to her rap single “Who You Wit.” In an interview with The Fab Femme, the Bronx native with Caribbean roots explains, “‘Who You Wit’ is a call to all of my ladies reminding us that our self worth comes from within. No one else has the ability to define us.” Check out the music video below.

Naomi Campbell Tells GLAAD, “I Owe My Life to Gay Men”

“I owe my life to gay men. It’s what I’ve grown up with, it’s my family,” super model and supporter of LGBT equality Naomi Campbell told GLAAD in a new interview about her role in Lee Daniels’ new hit show, Empire.

Naomi said about Empire, which tells the story of an African American family, in which the middle son is gay, succeeding in the hip-hop industry, “There are a lot of families still that are very closed about this subject, and if there’s one person in their family [who is gay], they just don’t want to admit it…I think Jamal’s character is so important, and I think it will help really bring a lot of people out that they will be proud.”

AzMarie Tweets Second Season of Empire Is Confirmed

Out model and actress AzMarie (America’s Next Top Model star, partner to Raven-Symoné, and ELIXHER Magazine cover girl) made her debut appearance on the hip-hop drama Empire last week. AzMarie’s character, Chicken, is a masculine of center, queer woman of color. Due to massive ratings, AzMarie tweeted that Fox confirmed another season of the show. Congrats to the cast and crew! We’ll definitely be tuning in.

TheFabFemme.com’s Aryka Randall decided to put together a project that will help end femme invisibility and shed light on the lives of feminine-identified women within the LGBTQ community.
