BET Networks has released their nominations for the 2014 BET Awards and our beloved Angel Haze is nominated for “Best Female Hip Hop Artist.” The Detroit native is going up against Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, Eve and Charli Baltimore. Minaj has been the reigning champ of this category for the past few years. We wish the “Battle Cry” rapper the best of luck.

WNBA Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner is also nominated for a 2014 BET Award in the “Sportswoman of the Year” category. She’s among LoLo Jones, Serena Williams, Tulsa Shock guard Skylar Diggans, and Venus Williams. This is Griner’s second nomination. Last year, Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas took home the award. We wish the award-winning athlete the best of luck as well.

Dice and Gocha during All Star weekend 2014.

On this week’s episode of La La’s Full Court Life things got a little tense between La La, Dice, and Po. Dice’s cousin and best friend weren’t too friendly or accepting when it came to Dice’s new older girlfriend Gocha. La La was initially concerned because Gocha is a mother and grandmother. When Dice informed La La and Po that she and Gocha were moving in together, La La was taken aback and she had tons of questions for Gocha during the dinner with her, Dice, and Po.

After La La started getting too personal with the questions, both Gocha and Dice got upset, causing Dice to directly ask La La and Po to change the subject. After the dinner, La La and Po addressed their issues privately with Dice, where Dice ended up even more upset. La La began to ask Dice why she chose to move in with Gocha and if it was because she needed support. Dice then told both La La and Po that if they were so worried about her well being that they should come down to Atlanta to visit her. Check out a clip from the episode below.

Terez Supports Monifah During Liposuction

This week on R&B Divas, Monifah followed through with her liposuction surgery to prepare for her and Terez’s wedding. During the surgery, Terez was right by her side watching. The “I Miss You (Come Back Home)” singer had local anesthesia and was awake during the procedure, causing her to feel a lot of pressure. Check out the clip below.
