Actress, producer and talk show host Queen Latifah graces the April 21 issue of Jet Magazine and in the issue she discusses her participation in the same-sex marriage ceremony at the 56th Grammy Awards. Latifah explained that the ceremony wasn’t about politics.
“It was a beautiful moment and not a political decision… I knew it would make a statement and I’m fine with the statement it made,” she said. During the interview Latifah also talked about falling in love, having children and why she decided to do another talk show after a 13-year hiatus. The issue is currently on newsstands.
