Buying drinks always helps, but if you really want to impress the ladies this weekend, tell them you went to Harvard. Earn your late night party binge on Saturday by first dropping in at the Cambridge, Massachusetts campus for a day’s worth of social consciousness and LGBT advocacy. The Hispanic Black Gay Coalition and Harvard Law School LAMBDA co-host a 9-hour workshop on Saturday that will address health and wellness, sprituality, social activism and gender expression, among other hot-button issues pertinent to queer women of color. Bklyn Boihood’s Ryann Holmes, STUD magazine’s Alyssa Asomani, and National Black Justice Coalition co-founder and Nobel Peace Prize nominee Mandy Carter are scheduled to speak during panel discussions. Early online registration is closed, but same-day registration will be available at 9AM on Saturday morning. All allies are welcome.
